Skin Science:
The sensation of heavy legs comes from the accumulation of blood in the lower legs, which is what we call poor venous return. The veins become dilated, losing tone and distensibility (their ability to retract and slacken). The vein wall is less and less toned and venous insufficiency is exacerbated. This heavy sensation is amplified at the end of the day, after remaining upright and walking around for a long time.

1. In the morning and evening, massage in with upward movements.
